Questions

Does a challan reduce my stock? Yes. The goods leave stock when you save the challan, and it stays open until it is billed. If some goods come back, you record them on the challan with a reason.

Can one bill cover many challans? Yes. When you make the bill you can pick several open challans for the same customer, and each is marked as billed.

Why does the challan show tax if it is not a bill? The tax columns show the value of the goods being moved. The tax is charged on the bill you make later.

Can I change the declaration text? The declaration is StoreSathi’s standard line for challans. You can add your own note and terms on each challan.
